Do a walking Meditation
Every day for at least a week commit to taking a walking meditation. Too often while walking people are in such a hurry and only do it to go from one point to another and pay no attention to all the wonder and beauty that surrounds them. When one walks with intention and awareness, you begin to see a different world around you. If you are able to begin your day in such a sacred way, you will find that your entire outlook for the day will change as will your experiences.
Preferably take your walk in the morning, out in nature, in the forest, on the shoreline or in a park as this also offers you clean air to rejuvenate your cells and being. Walk for at least 10 minutes or more if you can. Begin with a small invocation that opens you up to the earth and expands your awareness and then begin to take each step with the intention to feel and see more than ever before. Sense the feelings of your feet as they take each step and touch the ground. Close your eyes and listen to the sounds all around you. What do you hear? What do you feel? If you can walk barefoot upon the earth so much the better, take off your shoes and feel her. Feel the energy that she give you and allow for these sensations to permeate your entire being and consciously take each step forward.
A walking meditation is most healing and helps to keep your thoughts and feelings in perspective. You are worth trying this practice as it will help you to elevate stress and help you maintain inner balance and harmony which then affects everyone you touch throughout your day.
Affirmation: "The beauty and wonder of the world around me feeds and rejuvenates me and all of my being and when I walk with intention, I am sharing back my light and healing with mother earth and all that is."
And so it is
You are dearly loved and supported, always, the angels and guides
