Are you spending too much of your time overthinking?
One of the biggest causes of dissatisfaction, distraction, and unhappiness is overthinking things. Too much mental energy is put into the process and not enough feeling. This mostly happens when you are in a cycle of "Its all about me." While the journey is about you, not everything that is going on around is about you. Let go of that thinking as that is truly what is standing in your way.
Get out of your own head for a moment and listen. Listen to your own words and then your thoughts and see if perhaps that is exactly what you are not wanting. Are you complaining or looking outside of yourself for solutions or do you stop and look within for an answer from that small quiet voice that encourages you to look for a better way? Are you thinking positively or playing lip service to positive thinking while not truly believing it for yourself?
Remember, changing your focus is easy. Begin to focus on the positives in you, in your life and all around you. Look for the wonderful things that are happening and choose better thinking thoughts from there. When you see that you truly have nothing to complain about, like becomes filled with endless possibilities.

for today: One of the quickest ways to discover your thought process is to ask yourself what you have to complain about today and then listen to your answer.
